When you need routine New Orleans auto care, you need the New Orleans auto care experts at Twin Tire.
With Thanksgiving over, we're entering the height of the holiday season. It seems like you just rush from one thing to another whether it's buying gifts or getting ready for more holiday entertaining. And, of course, while you're rushing around, you're trying to stick to that budget. One way to do it is go to the Black Friday sales. Another is to find less expensive ways to shop, like the French Market. Another way is to take care of your car.
Yes, that's right. One of the best ways to save money over the long haul, according to the nonprofit Car Care Council, is to be diligent about preventive care, also known as basic or regular maintenance.
“There is an old adage that if you take care of your car, your car will take care of you,” said Rich White, the council's executive director. “Making time to perform routine auto care not only ensures a safer, more dependable vehicle, but car owners can preserve the trade-in value and save money by addressing small issues before they become more complicated, expensive repairs.”
The council adds, "The most common maintenance procedures to keep a car operating safely and reliably while maintaining its long-term value involve checking the oil, filters and fluids, the belts and hoses, brakes, tires and air conditioning."
The council also recommends an annual tune-up and wheel alignment.
If you're like most people, you're going to say you don't have time for routine New Orelans auto care. Especially during the holidays. But, it doesn't take long. And, you can look at it as a short break amid the hubbub of the season and a time to gather your thoughts and check your to-do list while you're waiting for Twin Tire Auto Care to make sure your car is good to go.
